I’m going to share something with you (like I do) and I hope that you won’t hold it against me.  Because my opinion?  My take on the whole 2009 thing?  It wasn’t so bad.

I’ve had too many people argue with me about that.  That it was HORRIBLE.  FOR EVERYONE.

For me, eh… not so much.

A bunch of good stuff happened.  For real.  And the bad stuff, well bad stuff is ever present if you’re looking for it.  Sure sometimes it comes out of left field and smacks you in the forehead, but that’s life.

I think I enjoyed the hell out of 2009.  I’m not usually one for the whole looking back at the past year thing but I’ve had a chance to do a bit of that today and it seemed pretty sunny.  So instead of bemoaning the horrors of 09 and saying I hope everything is sooooo different next year (which hello… is tomorrow) I’m going to just say that I hope that things are going well.  Now, tomorrow, next week, and perpetually… forever… or something.
