I’ve been bedded

For the first time in what feels like years I am home, relaxing and in my bed before midnight. My cat is curled up on my lap as I type this and I could not be more content. I had a full weekend between hosting Camp Naughty, seeing a great friend for the first time in 15 years, cleaning up the aftermath of camp and going to Booty Call to see and hear Melissa Lion give a sexy oration.

I am glad to be home.

I am thrilled to have my feet up.

I am overjoyed at the feeling of laying in my bed.

I am warmed by the certain knowledge that I will soon watch an episode of Doctor Who.

But more than anything I am overwhelmed with joy because I will not be waking up to the unnatural, cruel and anything but lovely sound of the alarm clock…

Oh yes lovelies… this girl is sleeping in, wrapped in smooth cool sheets and cradled by a new summer comforter…

oh yeah.
