Um… today is a big day here.
a scary day.
You see until this moment I had complete faith in my darling Mr. Kaos’ perfection in all things related to the universe. Seriously, he has never let me down. That’s a big thing to live up to and well, he’s scared.
His being scared, that scares me.
Because soon, very very soon, after many delays Mr. Kaos is going to shut off the water and switch over to the all new pipes.
Water is gonna go off.
That means no water to the one bathroom that is working.
Yup.
Until he gets it back on.
Now I have almost complete faith that this is going to go smoooooooth as silk and that Mr. Kaos will have the water up and running better than ever in a few tiny little hours.
I have almost complete faith (in him…. not that other faith based stuff).
I say almost because my faith in this project is nearly complete. It was complete except that he is really nervous and though I have spent the week rallying his spirits and telling him how much faith (there is that word again) I have in his abilities to not fuck things up, I have to tell you his sheer amount of uncertainty is a little bothersome.
Maybe he is just being dramatic so I can be more excited for the big finish…
You think?
I hope! Fingers crossed for you.
DefinitelyHe’s building you up so that when he finishes you will know even more that he is some kind of superman. What a guy.Does he wear his pants over his tights? He does wear tights doesn’t he?
ooer… i dunno, is he a pro? i may be nervous too- hope it goes well!
Just a little update for all of you… so far so good. The water isn’t flowing yet but everything is going well. I’m breathing a little easier than I was earlier.and Jo, of course he does, what decent super hero doesn’t?
we have hit our first snag but it is a small one and everything is still going wellkeep the faith people!hahah
don’t leave me hanging, how’d it go?
Oh I am sorry for not telling you sooner. we have water
YEAH For Mr. K! I KNEW HE COULD DO IT! Rock on!
Good for the Mister! Maybe he was a plumber in his past life?
That is funny. I’d be scared.
Plumbing is, without a doubt, my least favorite home improvement task. I’m always left paranoid for days, weeks afterwards that a leak will spring forth and soak everything.
