Cami Kaos (she/her) is a longtime connector, quiet fixer, and behind-the-scenes strategist who thrives where complexity meets care. With more than two decades of experience in executive support, community leadership, and operational strategy, she’s spent her career making systems run smoother and people feel safer. From moderating chaotic group chats to untangling existential spreadsheet crises, Cami brings calm, clarity, and a deep commitment to equity and access.
Today, she’s focused on intentional work that aligns with her values—whether that’s writing candidly about neurodivergence and community on her blog at camikaos.com, crafting talks that explore the intersections of Buddhist philosophy and open source burnout, or hand-stringing mala necklaces during meditation. She’s still the person you want in your corner when things get messy—but now she’s showing up with stronger boundaries and a little more softness for herself.
Looking ahead, Cami is building a future rooted in autonomy, storytelling, and spaciousness. She’s exploring new creative paths, helping ethical leaders stay focused and human, and finding joy in the small, sustainable moments. While acknowledging that sometimes the bravest thing you can do is stay soft and keep going, she’s choosing work that honors who she is, not just what she can do.
Cami has called Portland, Oregon home for more than 25 years — long enough to have seen it through its many evolutions and to still love it for its damp weirdness and fiercely creative spirit. She shares moments of life, work, and wonder (plus the occasional well-framed skeleton) on Instagram, as @camikaos.
Plus, she’s smokin’ hot.

Hi Cami! Long time, no see. How are you, mate?
Your dad is a great guy. Enjoy time with him while he’s still around.
