Wait–what? How can you use applesauce to make ornaments??? Cinnamon, I can see (well, if it’s sticks and not powder), but applesauce?

None of you have ever done those ornaments? Here’s how you do it

You need 2 oz. of cinnamon 4-6 oz. of applesause a rolling pin, some cookie cutters, a toothpick or something to poke a hole with and ribbon.

Mix the applesauce and cinnamon to make a dough (if it’s too dry ad more sauce)

roll it out until it’s about 1/4″ thick. Cut shapes with cookies cutters. Put it on a cookie sheet and make a hole at the top to string on a ribbon later.

Bake at 200 degrees for 20 minutes.

When they’re cool you can string them up and hang them or decorate them with paint or glue & glitter. If you store them in a zipper bag after holidays they will continue to smell like cinnamon for years.

(you can also puff paint a name on them and use them for gift tags)
